Personally, I thought a grander story was building and was a little let down by the ending, but thematically it worked very well and as I think more on it, I think I might have made the wrong final choice which kneecapped the dramatic effect. It's essentially a story about a brother and sister rebuilding a relationship after a decade apart, and the climax does not even scrape the drama that was seen in LIS, but that can be refreshing in certain lights. Like most games, your choices don't effect the majority of the events, but they do feel worthwhile for the effects you do see. The dialogue was well written, but there are a few moments where the characters oscillate a bit too much between emotional highs in an effort to match your choices from the branching events. The character models are out of date at this point, a bit stiff in emotional moments which can sometimes be a bit distracting. If you've played Life is Strange by the same studio, you've seen all these story beats and mechanics before, so I can't say it was particularly innovative, but I still thought the story was very touching and the atmosphere was beautiful. Nothing outright, but you can draw conclusions from what I've written as you play.
